December meeting: "Organized
PR Professionals Wanted"
Becky Esker, founder and president of Get Organized! LLC, encouraged
us to become more organized in order to save time, reduce stress and
achieve greater success. So how do we accomplish that? Becky offered
a host of suggestions related to managing time, paper and space. A
few examples: Always keep two lists - a master list of every project
you're working on and a daily to-do list prepared at the end of each
day so you're ready to go the next morning; de-clutter your office
by having a system in place to deal with every piece of paper you
touch; and make sure the only things within arm's reach of your desk
are the things you deal with every day. If you're organized, you can
save as much as two hours per day, and who can't use that?!
